It is with regret that we note the death of a former
classmate, teacher and friend which occurred on Thursday of last
week at the Methodist Hospital Indianapolis. It is 47 or 8 years
since we first met him, he being in the Scientific Class while
the writer was in the Teacher's Class in the Central Normal. Our
regret will be shared by thousands who owe to him many a kindly
word of encouragement. His entire life was given to the Central
Normal and his death will be deeply felt.
